The Y09 bag is the one that seals.

The SeaVac Ultra Max takes the Y09-5 — five bags and one motor filter. Change the motor filter after every fifth bag, which is why one ships in every pack. Non-genuine bags and filters void the vacuum warranty.

No hose or tools aboard? That is normal. Plenty of boats get the vacuum fitted without the hose and tool kit, because the kit is sold separately. Nothing is wrong with the system — any 32 mm kit fits. Tool kits from $125.05.

Common questions

Which dust bag fits the SeaVac Ultra Max?

The Y09-5. It is the Y09 bag in a pack of five with a motor filter. The other SeaVac bags look similar but will not seal in this unit, so check the model number on the collar before you order.

Can the SeaVac Ultra Max pick up water?

No. It is a dry vacuum for cabin use only. Never use it on water, bilge water, wet sand or anything damp, and mount the power unit in a dry compartment.

Can I put a VacPort on the SeaVac Ultra Max?

Yes. It is a piped system, so it takes the VacPort range in LED and non-LED, plus inlet valves.

What tool kit fits the SeaVac Ultra Max?

Any 32 mm kit — every kit InterVac sells. The TK108-B, TK108-TB and TK108-TBM all fit, as do the individual hoses, wands and tools.
